Maurice Kuipers is a senior consultant at BCI Global, studied Economic Geography in Groningen, the Netherlands and joined BCI in 2002. During his career Maurice has gained strong experience and expertise in the fields of footprint analysis/site selection for companies, economic/territorial development, and marketing strategies for attracting and retaining companies to regions.
Maurice has been involved in many projects all over Europe and in Asia. In the field of footprint analysis/site selection some examples of projects are AkzoNobel (Shared Service Center in Asia), Allen & Overy (Support Center in EMEA), Microsoft (R&D and Software Development) NCR (R&D and Manufacturing plant in Eastern-Europe) and Michael Kors (Distribution Center in Northwest-Europe). In addition, in the field of regional development/marketing strategy clients include a.o. Invest Northern Ireland, ONE BSR (cooperation of national IPA’s in the Baltic Sea Region), Scottish Enterprise, the European Commission, Malta Enterprise and Invest in Stockholm.
