Eric Mekenkamp

Eric Mekenkamp got his Business Administration degree at the University of Groningen after completing his technical business administration studies at the Hogeschool in Enschede. He started his career at the Schiphol Group. After that he worked at various consultancy firms and as a freelance consultant with a focus on freight transport, logistics, ports & logistics regions and optimization of logistics chains. As secretary KNV Rail Freight Transport, Eric expanded extensively his expertise in the field of rail freight transport.

With over two decades of experience in the freight logistics sector, Eric has been employed by BCI Global since August 2020. His focus expertise is in the areas of strategy, policy and operations. Eric sees opportunities to support parties in a cooperative way in solving issues within these organizations and improving and optimizing their own processes or those in their logistics chains. Clients include governments, carriers, logistics services providers, port companies, corridor organizations and other partnerships.
