Supply chain analytics & Center of Excellence (CoE)

The pace of digitizing supply chains and the ability to mine data instantly has increased dramatically over the past 24 months. However, only a limited number of companies have implemented a Supply Chain Center of Excellence as a pro-active response to cope with the increased dynamics in today’s environment.

Proposition

Those companies who have implemented a Supply Chain Center of Excellence have invested heavily in strong advanced analytical capabilities and benefit from unlocking the data to allow better and faster decision making.

Our vision on supply chain analytics & center of excellence (CoE)

To manage a complex and turbulent business environment requires having an instant holistic End-to-End view. It translates in the need for a network with anticipating lead times, optimized and flexible structures, process driven operations and better decision making capability. The recent geopolitical events, the pandemic and volatility in changing import duties have increased the need for multinational companies with global supply chains to understand completely their supply chain set up and capabilities as well as the need for fast decision making capability. This is “the journey towards a digital twin of your supply chain” Companies need to make a shift from a traditional transactional operating model into a more resilient End-to-End play and make changes in your organization, your process, your (analytics) tooling and your people. A first step is usually establishing a Center of Excellence with supply chain analytics and access to your company’s data, a so-called “data lake”. The Center of Excellence then typically can support you with visibility (End-to-End), scenario analyses and short term fact based decision making.
