Jim joined BCI Global in 2015 as Senior Director with 30 years of experience in site selection, incentives negotiation, tax credit analysis, and compliance. He holds a Masters of Science degree in Economic Geography from Northern Illinois University and an undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Illinois. He is a nationally-known and respected expert in the area of site selection, corporate incentives and tax credits. For example, he was selected by the United States Senate Finance Committee to testify on the use of incentives related to the Cuno v. Ohio case which was heard by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Past clients include Allergan, Bank of America, Baxter, Cessna, eBay, FedEx, Ferrero, Kia, Lowes, Makita, Mitsubishi, NBCUniversal, Panasonic, Quaker Oats, Raytheon, Shell Oil, STenant Healthcare, Tenneco, Tesoro, Verizon, Weyerhaeuser, and Xerox. He has assisted over 300 clients in selecting the optimal location for new corporate facilities and has participated in over 2,000 incentives negotiation projects.
