Jaap Bovens is senior consultant and has worked at BCI Global since 2008. Jaap is an economist, he has a master degree at the Maastricht University and is specialized in conducting social cost benefit analyses (CBA) for economic investments. He has the ability to understand complicated public/private projects and to take it a step further from a financial and economic perspective. Jaap also has extensive experience in developing various assessment tools for both the central government and the regions in the Netherlands in terms of structural economic improvement, the value of nature, and the economic impact of the transition towards sustainable energy. Jaap’s fields of expertise are regional economic strategy, welfare effects / social cost benefit analyses (CBA), project development / business cases, economic impact analyses, and business area development.
